Liverpool were once again hung at home, while Chelsea came close to disaster against promoted Hull City, on the sidelines of the fourth day of the Premier League.

The Premier League continues. The fourth day of the English championship delivered part of its verdict with five matches on the program this Saturday afternoon.

Liverpool hosted Fulham at Anfield. The Reds failed to make the difference against Alvaro Arbeloa’s men, who were solid defensively (0-0). While Bradley Barcola was discreet on the left side, another Frenchman stood out. Jérémy Jacquet delivered a solid performance in the defensive sector, multiplying interventions and interceptions. Fulham thus leaves with their first point of the season in the Premier League.

In the other matches, Brentford came back from Bournemouth with a point (2-2), while Chelsea, for their part, came close to disaster against promoted Hull City. Buoyed by a double from Algerian international Bachir Belloumi, the visitors long cast doubt on the Blues, finally coming back to the level thanks to Joao Pedro (2-2).

Aston Villa experienced major disappointment at home against Nottingham Forest. While they seemed to be heading towards a draw, the Villans finally gave in in added time to lose (1-2). Same scenario for Ipswich Town, beaten at home by Crystal Palace (2-3) after conceding the defeat goal in the last seconds.
