Ligue 2: Nantes sinks cruelly
FC Nantes lost at Sochaux this Saturday as part of the 6th day of Ligue 2. Already with a fourth setback this season.

There is improvement in the game and the intentions but the observation remains cruel: Nantes is not advancing this season in Ligue 2. Rejected from the elite last spring, the FCN is struggling to rebuild, already suffering four defeats in six days. The latest conceded this Saturday.

On the Sochaux pitch, the Canaries lost 1-0, weighed down by yet another individual error and thus surprised by Benjamin Gomel on the hour mark (61e) while they had the opportunities to swing the match in their favor. So here they are in an unfortunate position again.

While they had taken four points in the last two acts, Grégory Poirier’s men fell back into their mistakes and found themselves 17e and penultimate, therefore virtually relegated to Ligue 3. FCSM for its part continues a fifth meeting without setbacks and is in sixth position.
