Asked by RAC-1Deco provided an update on the transfer window. “We could have completed the Adeyemi deal next season, but we’ve done it now, and it’s a shame Roony got injured because we wanted him to go out on loan. Regarding Rashford, we are grateful for what he brought, but Gordon suited the club’s philosophy better. As for Gabriel Jesus, we didn’t know this option existed, and in the end, it turned out to be beneficial. The Catalan sports director also mentioned the case of Bernardo Silva, who finally signed for Real Madrid.

“It was not the position we were looking for, given his profile. I love him, he is Portuguese and has been one of the best players in the world in recent years. We knew that Bernardo Silva wanted to come to Barça, and that would have been an asset, but it did not correspond to our financial criteria. We told him that if he wanted to come he had to take that into account. Promises of playing time? We will never do it. We give the manager what he needs, but in the end, if the player asks for something else, we let him go. »
