The 16th criminal chamber of the Paris judicial court will tackle the dark case of the home-jacking of Gianluigi Donnarumma starting this Thursday. Three defendants appear on this occasion: a perpetrator and the two alleged sponsors who at the time of the events were incarcerated at the Villepinte remand center, in Seine-Saint-Denis.
The facts date back to the night of July 20 to 21, 2023. Burglars had invaded the apartment of the Italian goalkeeper then a PSG player, at 16 avenue Montaigne, in the 8th arrondissement of the capital. Gianluigi Donnarumma was then kidnapped and his partner, Alessia Elefante, assaulted. While pregnant, she suffered a miscarriage in the following weeks.
In the dock this Thursday, the man named Ilyas Kherbouch, presented as the mastermind of the operation at the age of 21, quickly stood out, violently attacking the police present on the scene while the person concerned was conversing without authorization with one of his brothers who had come to attend the hearing.
20 years in prison incurred

The hearing is scheduled to continue this Friday. The three men tried this week, adults at the time of the facts and prosecuted for aggravated theft, short-term confinement and criminal conspiracy, face up to twenty years of imprisonment because they are suspected of repeat offenses.
