Nominated for the 2026 Ballon d’Or, Kylian Mbappé spoke about his favorite winner in the history of the trophy.

The suspense is total in the race for the 2026 Ballon d’Or. While the list of 30 nominees was revealed on Tuesday, no favorite clearly emerges. An uncertainty which could benefit one of the many potential winners: Kylian Mbappé.

Although he did not win a single trophy with Real Madrid and the French team, the Merengue striker made his mark on a statistical level by finishing as top scorer in La Liga, the Champions League and the World Cup.

While waiting to know if he will be the lucky one, on October 26 in London, “Kyks” spoke about his favorite legendary Ballon d’Or in an interview given to
The Team. So he had to decide between the oldest glories of football.
