Top scorer in the Champions League last season, Kylian Mbappé begins his European season with Real Madrid with a shock against Inter this Tuesday evening at the Bernabéu.

After a first defeat in La Liga at Real Betis (1-0), last Friday, Real Madrid begins the Champions League with a good showing at the Bernabéu against Inter Milan, this Tuesday evening (kick-off 9 p.m., live on Canal+ Foot). The opportunity for Kylian Mbappé to shake the nets on the European scene, he is the reigning C1 top scorer with 15 goals. He will find his French teammates Benjamin Pavard and Marcus Thuram, both starters for the occasion with the Nerazzurri.

José Mourinho’s starting line-up was expected by Madrid supporters since Real is deprived of Eduardo Camavinga, Arda Güler and Bernardo Silva, all three suspended.

Real starts without Diomandé

The most expensive recruit in the history of Casa Blanca Yan Diomandé will not have his first tenure. Mbappé is once again supported by Brahim Diaz, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius in the offensive sector. It is Trent Alexander-Arnold, overtaken by Denzel Dumfries at the start of the season on the right side of the defense, who takes the opportunity to join the starting lineup in the midfield alongside Federico Valverde.

Ibrahim Konaté is well associated with Dean Huijsen in central defense to challenge the Lautaro Martinez-Marcus Thuram duo. Aurélien Tchouaméni, in the recovery phase, is on the bench alongside Antonio Rüdiger, Endrick or Carlos Espi. On the interior side, we will follow the positioning of Pavard within the three-way defense aligned by Christian Chivu.

The Real Madrid eleven: Courtois – Dumfries, Konaté, Huijsen, Cucurella – Alexander-Arnold, Valverde – Diaz, Bellingham, Vinicius – Mbappé.

Inter Milan’s eleven: Josep Martinez – Bisseck, Pavard, Bastoni – Diouf, Çalhanoglu, Barella, Jones, Carlos Augusto – Lautaro Martinez, Thuram.
