Luis Campos this summer seems to have lost influence in Paris. Close to President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, player agent Jorge Mendes has supplanted the official PSG adviser in many cases. Manuel Ugarte recruited at a hefty price – 60 million euros – is in the portfolio of the influential Portuguese. Same thing for Marco Asensio (free arrival) and Gonçalo Ramos, poached against 80 million euros, bonus included.

In recent days, in this last straight line of the transfer window, Jorge Mendes is forcing to conclude the transfer of Lyonnais Bradley Barcola, another element in the bosom of Gestifute, his company representing footballers.
