Before the closing match of this 2nd day of Serie A between Inter Milan and Cagliari, Udinese of Florian Thauvin moved on the lawn of Salernitana. Despite good intentions on both sides after a first quarter of an hour of observation, the scoreboard did not move throughout the first half.

Upon returning from the locker room, Lazar Samardzic, about to leave for Inter, took advantage of a good cross from Hassane Kamara extended by Lorenzo Lucca to open the scoring (57th, 0-1). As the visitors quietly headed for a victory, Antonio Candreva, the local captain, passed on to Boulaye Dia who crucified Marco Silvestri to put the two teams equal (72nd, 1-1).
