Less than a month before his debut at the head of the France team, Zinédine Zidane will be the subject of a large format during the return of Téléfoot this Sunday.

And yes, it’s the recovery! Fifty years after its creation, Téléfoot will start a new season this Sunday. While the show was announced dead, here it is again, with Zinédine Zidane starring, and with some new features.

In L’Equipe, Grégoire Margotton takes stock of the new version of the show, which “comes back more powerful than ever! With the same gang of course: Bixente Lizarazu, Séverine Parlakou and Thomas Mekhiche at my side. But above all, the show will start a little earlier (10:50 a.m.) to offer 10 minutes of additional images and reports, without advertising. We will have time to settle in, with a magazine which will be 90% Ligue 1 this season since we will be lucky enough to have six matches which will have already been played, compared to four previously. »

The big news is the extension of the show… on another channel. With an “After” on the L’Equipe channel, where the tone will be different. “It’s going to look like a nice addition.” Everything that we had in images in the first part, we will have in comments, in positions, in analyses, in a second part in this after”warns Margotton.

Zidane in Téléfoot this Sunday

For this start of the school year, Téléfoot will devote a large part of its program to Ligue 1, with subjects on Fabian Ruiz, on Paris FC, and on the weekend’s matches (PSG-Monaco, Lens-Lorient, Toulouse-Lille). But for the broadcaster of the French team, it was impossible to let the news of the summer pass, namely the arrival of Zinédine Zidane at the head of the Blues.

A large format will also be devoted to “ZZ” in Sunday’s show. “We want to see the Blues again and Zizou is the magnificent golden ribbon on the gift package,
confides Margotton. What is certain is that he will participate in the relocation of Téléfoot to Clairefontaine, as Didier Deschamps did. » The appointment is made.
