Chelsea: Honest Ahanor loaned immediately to Crystal Palace

Chelsea have signed a new recruit at €48 million

Crystal Palace have made the arrival of Honest Ahanor official. The young 18-year-old Italian defender joins the Eagles from Chelsea (on loan until the end of the 2026-2027 season). Left-handed, the player trained at Genoa discovered Serie A at just 16 years old before joining Bergamo last summer.

Since his arrival at Atalanta, Ahanor has played 35 matches in all competitions, including nine in the Champions League. His performances also allowed him to make his first two selections with Italy last June, with two victories and two clean sheets against Luxembourg and Greece. He now strengthens the Crystal Palace squad for the new season.
