Tick tock, tick tock… Time will pass very quickly for the twenty leaders of Ligue 1 in this last week of the summer transfer window. The French clubs must speed up the final negotiations with the aim of completing the last files before Friday evening, the deadline. Several departments still have a lot of work to do in the days to come, both in terms of departures and arrivals. Small synthetic focus five days before the final gong.

PSG on several fronts

It sounds obvious but Paris Saint-Germain should still be talked about this week. After a transfer window agitated in all directions, the Parisian management is still fully involved in several files. If the future of Kylian Mbappé is still implicit in the Parisian news, the files of Randal Kolo Muani and Bradley Barcola remain at the center of the PSG week. As we revealed to you recently, Paris has made a first offer to Frankfurt of between 60 and 70 million euros for the French international. After having suffered a first refusal, Luis Campos thus went on the attack again with a second offer of 70 M€ accompanied by various bonuses. Regarding the nugget of OL, Bradley Barcola, eager to join the Capital, would have demanded his departure from his leaders during a meeting that took place last Friday. In the sense of departures, the future of Marco Verratti is written a little further from the Parc des Princes, at a time when the Italian midfielder has, according to our information, an agreement with the Qatari club of Al-Arabi. Other players could also pack up: Julian Draxler, Timothée Pembélé, Hugo Ekitike or Georginio Wijnaldum.

Azzedine Ounahi will set the pace for OM

After a more than interesting transfer window, marked by the signatures of Geoffrey Kondogbia, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ismaïla Sarr, Iliman Ndiaye, Renan Lodi, Joaquin Correa or even Ruben Blanco, the Marseille management still have their work cut out for them in both sense of transaction. For arrivals, Pablo Longoria and Javier Ribalta are waiting to complete the arrival of Panamanian side Michael Murillo from Anderlecht. A total agreement has already been found between the Olympian leaders and their Belgian counterparts regarding his transfer. The departure of Mattéo Guendouzi for Lazio Rome will also be sealed in the coming hours. According to our information, OM and Lazio have reached an agreement for the transfer of the French international for 18 million with bonus (13+5). In addition, as revealed by us, OM are still discussing with Lorient for an exchange between Isaak Touré and young defender Bamo Meïté (21) from Les Merlus. If Pol Lirola’s loan to Frosinone was formalized on Monday, there is still one undesirable: Jordan Amavi is also on the shelves of Stade Brestois.

Last straight line for new blood at OL

What a complicated summer for Olympique Lyonnais with the decisions of the DNCG. Despite the arrivals of Duje Caleta-Car (Southampton), Ainsley Maitland-Niles (free), Skelly Alvero (Sochaux), Clinton Mata (Bruges) and Jake O’Brien (Crystal Palace reserve), OL are still looking for a winger and a midfielder in priority. For the sides, according to our information, the track of Ghanaian crack Ernest Nuamah (19) is still in negotiations. OL were already in advanced discussions with the Nordsjælland club for a loan with an obligatory purchase option of more than €20 million. The track leading to Mama Baldé (27) is still being negotiated as well, as is that of Georginio Rutter (21): two names to watch closely this week. And for the midfield, if the profile of Guido Rodriguez of Real Betis was a priority, the track is complicated this Monday. Despite a good proposal from the Rhone club, Betis has absolutely no intention of parting with one of its best players, indisputable holder of his team. In recent hours, the Spanish club have indicated that the Argentinian will not leave Andalusia this summer. In the meantime, Matthieu Louis-Jean is multiplying the leads and is still thinking of Mady Camara, the Guinean midfielder for Olympiacos.

Monaco still active this week

After the recent signings of Denis Zakaria, Wilfried Singo or even Mohamed Salisu, AS Monaco, now coached by Adi Hütter, still has a lot of files on fire and this last week of the summer transfer window is likely to be hectic. According to our information, Falorin Balogun has been authorized by Arsenal to undergo his medical examination in Monaco, pending a definitive agreement between the two clubs. A sign that the negotiations are progressing very well. The Principality club wants to complete this transfer before the end of the week to fully focus on the search for a new central defender. On this position, AS Monaco was negotiating with Fulham for the transfer of Tosin Adarabioyo, also targeted by Nice in the event of Todibo’s departure, but the file is stalling and Monaco seems to be more and more resigned, while the Englishman wants well reach the Rock. Monaco is also prospecting in Portugal to find its central defender and two names emerged from the columns during this month of August: Ousmane Diomandé, a big revelation in the Portuguese first division with Sporting CP, and Filipe Relvas who plays for Portimonense.

Jonathan David still from Lille?

Admittedly, LOSC sold Timothy Weah to Juventus at the start of the summer transfer window, but the northern club has nevertheless retained – for the moment – its other winger, Canadian Jonathan David. August is almost complete and the situation has not changed. As at the beginning of the summer, and as already last year, there was no offer, which we reported to you at the end of June. While Naples had made it one of its priorities in the event of the departure of Victor Osimhen, the latter stayed and will even extend. Jonathan David could therefore leave Lille, rather next summer, one year from the end of his lease. According to Sky Sports, Napoli, Juventus and Atlético de Madrid as well as a Premier League club still represent the main courtiers, who will undoubtedly return to the charge in a year, hoping that there is not a last offer minute from another club before Friday night. At the same time, the Mastiffs are targeting Fiorentina striker Christian Kouamé to replace Mohamed Bayo.

Rennes has not yet finished its transfer window

With Olympique de Marseille, Stade Rennais is probably the French club that has achieved one of the most prodigious transfer windows. Indeed, the arrivals of Ludovic Blas, Nemanja Matic and Enzo Le Fée. While the Breton leaders have already let Jérémy Doku and Lesley Ugochukwu slip away, they could lose Arthur Theate in the coming days. Coveted by RB Leipzig, the 23-year-old Belgian could be tempted by the Bundesliga and his club could release him in the event of an offer deemed interesting. As we revealed to you exclusively, the Rouge et Noir then checked several names to find the possible successor to Theate: Nayef Aguerd, Morato and Davinson Sanchez. In addition, the Breton management still has to find a medium to replace Lovro Majer, who has gone to Wolfsburg. According to our information, it is still Fabian Rieder, player of BSC Young Boys, who is in the sights of Rennes.
