Real Madrid are running out of resources in attack, but Manchester United have offered them an interim solution.
According to MD, United have offered striker Antony Martial to Los Blancos, whose attacking options are dwindling. Vinicius Junior’s injury leaves only Rodrygo Goes, Joselu Mato and Brahim Diaz as options to play in front of the midfield diamond.
This transfer could be a loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said the transfer market closed for his side as recently as Thursday, but that was before losing Vinicius.
It seems unlikely that Real Madrid will bring in Martial, who has struggled in La Liga in the past and whose ability to play at the Santiago Bernabéu is doubtful.
That said, Martial stylistically matches the role played by Vinicius, as a direct and quick threat to both defenders and behind attackers.
