It’s now official: Yanis Massolin is temporarily leaving Inter Milan to join Cagliari. The Sardinian club announced the arrival on loan of the young 23-year-old French midfielder, who will continue his progress in Serie A with the aim of obtaining more playing time. A new step for the ex-Clermont Foot player, who will try to establish himself under his new colors this season.
The operation includes a purchase option set at 7 million euros, according to Sky Sports. Inter Milan, however, secured the future with a clause allowing it to buy back Massolin as well as a percentage of 10% on a possible future resale. Cagliari therefore has the possibility of permanently keeping the Frenchman at the end of his loan.
