Already involved in a story of dissemination of pornographic images involving a minor in the past, the Real Madrid defender was arrested in mid-August for drunk driving in the Canary Islands. His blood alcohol level was estimated at 0.90 mg/l, for a limit set at 0.25 mg/l, almost four times higher than the authorized level.
A case that is getting people talking in Spain, obviously. And according to the Cadena COPEReal Madrid will open disciplinary proceedings against the 23-year-old central defender, which will likely result in a sanction. Suffice to say that between that and the competition for his position, Asencio is not about to turn back the field…
