Eden Hazard’s retirement ultimately bears little resemblance to that of a former footballer obsessed with his physical condition. The former Real Madrid and Chelsea player spoke about his new daily life in an interview with Average Rob. And although he is trying to lose a few kilos, he clearly does not intend to sacrifice all the pleasures of life.
“I take the children to school. Then, around 10 a.m., I run between 7 and 12 kilometers because I have to lose weight,” says Eden Hazard. The former Belgian international therefore added running to his daily program, in addition to another slightly less intense activity: “I walk my two Maltese bichons. »
But fans of epicurean Hazard can rest assured: the former Lille player has not completely changed software since his retirement. “Sometimes I play golf or padel and then we go and drink beers in the cafeteria,” he continues.
Desperate Housewives on the menu
A method for losing weight that probably shouldn’t get the Cristiano Ronaldo label, but seems to fit the character perfectly. The rest of his days are mainly punctuated by his life as a father. “After that, I pick up the children from school and then I’m a taxi driver, driving everyone to the activities,” he explains.
And when the day is finally over? No video session to analyze his old matches, nor documentary on the great players in history. “Once the children go to bed, I watch a series. I love Desperate Housewives. »
Running, golf, padel, beers, children and Desperate Housewives: at 35, Eden Hazard seems to have found a retirement program that reflects her image. And after a career during which his weight and lifestyle were regularly commented on, the Belgian can now manage his “diet” exactly as he wishes.
