Héctor Fort could well be one of the next FC Barcelona youngsters to leave Catalonia this summer. While the right-back continues to train under Hansi Flick as part of the pre-season, his future is increasingly outside of Barça’s plans, particularly due to the strong competition for his position. After his loan to Elche last season, the 20-year-old defender could look for a new base to get more playing time.

And according to several English media, Fulham would have checked Fort’s name, at the request of Álvaro Arbeloa. The Spanish technician, who relies heavily on young La Liga players like Gonzalo Garcia, would like to strengthen his right wing and has asked his club to inquire about the conditions of a possible transfer. Barça could demand around 10 million euros for their young full-back according to Sportwhose departure would also allow the club to continue its policy of promoting its young elements.
