Fenerbahçe is pushing for Romelu Lukaku. According to the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romanothe Turkish club sent a second offer to Naples for their 33-year-old striker. The leaders of the Turkish vice-champion had already tried to approach Aurelio Di Laurentiis and the Italian club in recent days, but the first proposal was ultimately rejected. The player has already agreed on the terms of a future contract at Fener.
Arriving in Naples in August 2024 from Chelsea, the Belgian international (132 caps) played 45 matches over the last two seasons, scoring 15 goals and notably winning the Scudetto for his first season at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. Injured for a good part of the 2025/2026 financial year, Lukaku then entered into conflict with the Neapolitan club, following an imbroglio dating from last March following a hip injury. Now, a departure seems more relevant than ever.
