One week before the resumption of Serie A, AC Milan is preparing to recover Adrien Rabiot and Mike Maignan later than expected. According to La Gazzetta dello Sportthe two French internationals, who were initially due to return to training on Wednesday, benefited from a few additional days of rest and will only finally reunite with their teammates on Sunday. A timing that inevitably raises questions as several other French internationals who played in the World Cup have already returned to training.

This choice comes above all in a preparation that is far from reassuring for the Rossoneri. Milan remains on two draws and a defeat and must still complete its squad before the start of the championship. The late return of two executives like Rabiot and Maignan therefore further reduces the time available to Rúben Amorim’s staff to work with their entire group, just a few days before the first day.
