Harry Kane could soon extend his adventure with Bayern Munich. According to The Timesthe 33-year-old English striker is expected to begin discussions with the Bavarian club this week to extend his contract until 2029. Arriving in Germany to take a new step in his career, Kane is said to have fully acclimatized to Munich, where he feels good with his family. His salary, currently estimated at around 25 million euros gross per year, is also not expected to see a significant increase.

This possible extension also reflects the evolution of Kane’s priorities. While a return to the Premier League had long been mooted in an attempt to surpass Alan Shearer’s goalscoring record, the striker would now be more focused on winning new trophies with Bayern. After two Bundesliga titles, the Champions League remains the major objective of both the player and the club. During the 2025-2026 financial year, Harry Kane scored 61 goals in 51 matches in all competitions with Bayern and should therefore go beyond his current contract, which runs until June 30, 2027.
