Kang-in Lee officially turns the page in Paris. After three seasons marked by two consecutive Champions League crowns under the orders of Luis Enrique, the South Korean international (50 caps) signed with Atlético de Madrid as part of a transfer estimated at 40 million euros. Used in a luxury joker role thanks to his offensive and midfield versatility, the former Mallorca player regularly made his contribution to the Parisian rotation. When leaving the capital club, the South Korean wanted to send a message of thanks and farewell to the supporters of Paris Saint-Germain.

“I still vividly remember the day I arrived here, with big dreams. Today, as my adventure in Paris comes to an end, the first word that comes to mind is simply thank you. Thank you to the club, to all the people who work behind the scenes every day, to the coaches, the staff and to all my teammates. Thank you for believing in me, for giving me your trust and for all the moments we shared together. Above all, thank you, the supporters. Your songs at the Parc des Princes filled my heart and still resonate in me today. You have always been there, in the good times and in the most difficult times. I can’t thank you enough for your support. We lived unforgettable moments and wrote a story that I will always be proud of. Winning two Champions Leagues in a row, lifting so many trophies and sharing all these emotions with you will remain one of the greatest privileges of my career. I am leaving Paris leaving a part of me there, but I will keep this club and each of you deep in my heart forever. Paris brought me much more than football. This city and this club made me grow, on the pitch but also off it. I leave with immense gratitude, a lot of pride and a heart full of memories. Thanks for everything. See you soon “wrote the new Colchoneros player on Instagram.
