Illan Meslier leaves Leeds freely

A nice rebound for Illan Meslier. At the end of his contract at Leeds, the 26-year-old French goalkeeper has joined Arsenal until the duration of his lease is revealed. The former Lorient player should be David Raya’s understudy this season.

Kepa Arrizabalaga is looking for a new challenge, having been number 2 for several seasons now. With Meslier, author of 215 matches played in seven seasons under the colors of the Peacocks, the Gunners have an experienced goalkeeper.
