Konrad Laimer extends contract with Bayern

Holder in the Bayern Munich defense, Konrad Laimer (29 years old) is not going to move from Bavaria any time soon. Indeed, the Austrian international (61 caps) extended his contract with the reigning German champions until 2029, this Monday. Arriving free in 2023, the Austrian midfielder played 47 matches under the orders of Vincent Kompany during the past season, scoring three goals and providing 13 assists.

Repositioned in the corridors of the Bavarian defense, Laimer made himself indispensable and indisputable in the Belgian technician’s eleven, playing 3,297 minutes during the 2025-2026 financial year. Since his arrival, the former RB Leipzig player has played 136 games in the red and white colors.
