This Sunday, the former Barcelonan set himself a new record in the English league. As his team won by the wire at Sheffield, Guardiola became the fastest manager to reach 200 Premier League victories. It only took him 269 matches to reach this milestone, which allows him to erase by far the previous record held by Sir Alex Ferguson (322 matches), closely followed by José Mourinho (326).
