Maxime Estève should discover a new country. The 24-year-old French defender completed a second full season with Burnley, whom he joined in January 2024 from Montpellier. Having become an essential starter in central defense, notably alongside Egan-Riley during their joint season in the Championship in 2024-2025, Estève is in the sights of RB Leipzig.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the German club, qualified for the next Champions League, is close to an agreement for the transfer of the defender, around €32 million. The former Montpellier would also already agree with Leipzig on the conditions of a future contract.
