With the arrival of Ivan Provedel in goal and the new Dumfries, Inter Milan are now tackling the task of completing their squad for the coming season. The Italian goalkeeper takes the place left vacant by Sommer, while Anan Khalaili, transferred for 25 million euros from Union Saint-Gilloise, should undergo his medical examination this Friday. After these reinforcements, the Nerazzurri club is targeting three other recruits according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport : a midfielder, an experienced central defender and a promising young player. Curtis Jones, 25-year-old Liverpool midfielder, is the first priority. The Englishman, whose contract expires in 2027, has agreed to join Inter, but Liverpool are demanding at least €40 million plus bonuses, a price influenced by recent transfers of Premier League midfielders like Anderson and Tonali.

Inter are also considering their defensive organization and their options on the flanks. The current strategy sees Khalaili and Andy Diouf playing on the right side, while Luis Henrique could be tested as Dimarco’s left understudy. In terms of central defense, the club currently only has Bisseck, Akanji and Bastoni, plus Carlos Augusto as a left-handed alternative. Inter is therefore looking for a starting central defender, a versatile player and a young replacement to train. Several names are being studied, from Chalobah to N’Dicka, including Gianluca Mancini, with recent interest in Jhon Lucumi, whose contract with Bologna is expiring and whose release clause is set at 28 million euros.
