Mathis Jangeal will continue his progress in Portugal, with FC Famalicão. Trained at Paris Saint-Germain since 2021, the 18-year-old French midfielder quickly distinguished himself as one of the most promising elements of the Parisian training center, going so far as to become captain of the youth teams. A player in the U19 hat-trick, winner of the Gambardella Cup and Youth League semi-finalist, he also took his first steps with professionals in Ligue 1 against AJ Auxerre in September 2025. He has officially signed up for the next 5 seasons with the Portuguese club.

He also said goodbye to the capital club on Instagram: “After 5 and a half years under the colors of PSG, it is time for me to turn a page and take on a new challenge. These years will remain engraved in my memory. I experienced incredible moments, met exceptional people and wore this jersey with pride every moment. Of course, I haven’t always been perfect. I’ve made some mistakes along the way, like everyone, and sometimes I wish I had done some things differently. But one thing has never changed: my love and respect for Paris Saint-Germain. My journey at Paris Saint Germain comes to an end, I was proud to win the Gambardella, 3 French u19 championship titles and to have participated in the coronation in League 1. I leave with a lot of gratitude to the club, my teammates, the coaches, the staff and the supporters for their unconditional love. PSG marked an important part of my life and my career and I am very grateful for it. It’s not goodbye, but goodbye. No matter where the future takes me, a part of my heart will remain in Paris. Thanks for everything. »
