There is no longer any real suspense, but Pierre Sage will soon no longer be the coach of RC Lens. Just one year after taking the reins of the Artesian club, the coach, winner of the 2026 Coupe de France, chose to give in to the sirens of the Premier League.
The future destination of the 47-year-old technician was already more or less known, but the Telegraph confirms that Sage will indeed be named future coach of Crystal Palace and will succeed Oliver Glasner. The British media assures that the matter has been heard and that the Eagles must now find a financial arrangement with the Sang-et-Or to buy out the last two years of Sage’s contracts.
