The Gleison Bremer file is gaining momentum on the Juventus side, while Roberto De Zerbi’s Tottenham has positioned itself with insistence on the Brazilian defender according to Tuttosport. The London club seeks to anticipate a possible departure of Cristian Romero after the World Cup and has identified the Auriverde international as a priority to strengthen its hinge. At the same time, Spurs have opened discussions with Turin leaders, in a transfer window context where Juventus must also deal with economic imperatives linked to its absence in the Champions League.

The Old Lady set Bremer’s starting price at €58 million, corresponding to a clause active for a limited period this summer. Tottenham is nevertheless trying to change the conditions of the transaction by proposing the integration of a player into the operation, a “joker” intended to reduce the financial envelope. Exchanges remain open between the two clubs, while the 29-year-old defender, appreciated by De Zerbi for his experience in Serie A, is closely following the progress of the negotiations.
