In Marseille, the second consecutive Champions League won by Paris Saint-Germain against Arsenal caused a surreal scene full of stupidity according to The Parisian. At the end of the final, a family (the two parents and their two young children) wearing PSG jerseys was inside a Subway restaurant and was spotted by angry Marseillais, before being insulted and threatened.
Several individuals gathered in front of the storefront and made very serious threats against the family locked in the restaurant for 40 minutes. In a video of the scene, we even hear a man say to the father: “you want your wife to be raped, I’m telling you”. Finally, the two young children were picked up by relatives and the couple agreed to remove their jerseys before being exfiltrated by the police to the boos of the crowd.
