Recruited during the summer of 2024 in exchange for €15 million, Albert Gronbaek (25 years old) is about to leave Stade Rennais permanently two years later, at a significantly reduced price. West France assures that the Rouge et Noir and Hamburg are in the process of concluding a transfer worth €6 million, bonus included.
This would allow the Danish midfielder to remain with the German club where he has been on loan since last winter. It will also be a relief for the SRFC to finally be able to get rid of an element which has never been able to establish itself in Brittany (only 18 matches) and which had been sent on loan to Southampton, Genoa and therefore to HSV.
