After having celebrated his back to back in the Champions League, Paris Saint-Germain will soon get back to work. If many Parisian players will participate in the 2026 World Cup with their country, the Ile-de-France leaders will logically look into the transfer window. This summer again, the trend is for a fairly calm transfer market, with few arrivals and few departures.

The Parisians have thus advanced on a few profiles which will mainly be complementary players, including a young goalkeeper, a versatile central defender and an understudy to Nuno Mendes, while reinforcements in attack, on the right side and in the number 9 position, are also expected. As for departures, the future of players like Lucas Chevalier, Bradley Barcola, Gonçalo Ramos, Kang-in Lee or Ibrahim Mbaye could well be written far from the Parc des Princes. Players with a secondary role for Luis Enrique, while proposals could arrive for team executives.

Real Madrid have some great goals but…

Indeed, in recent days, there has been talk of a more than pronounced interest from Real Madrid in the Vitinha-Neves pairing. The first has already been coveted for some time and often presented as the dream of leaders for the community, while the second could be an electoral promise from Florentino Pérez to win the elections, as the Cadena COPE Friday. In its Monday edition, the daily A.S. takes stock, confirming that Real Madrid sees things big, whether it is the management of Pérez, in place, or that of Enrique Riquelme, who has already confirmed that he will bring in Rodri (Manchester City) if he is elected.

But the Merengues are not on the two Portuguese from Paris Saint-Germain. As the media explains, it is more about the desires of Madrid supporters than options truly studied by the club currently. All this, knowing that PSG will have no intention of parting with it. The electoral process is, in any case, blocking any operation and we will have to wait for the result of the Madrid presidential elections on Sunday for the Whites to really move forward on any issue. But the Parisians can sleep soundly: Vitinha and Neves should not join Madrid this summer.
