The French team is actively preparing for its 2026 World Cup and for the occasion, Aurélien Touchaméni was present at a press conference this Sunday afternoon. The Real Madrid midfielder is coming off a blank season with Casa Blanca and made the headlines in the Spanish press during the month of May, following an altercation with Federico Valvderde, his teammate. Asked about this probable fight at the capital’s training center, the Habs explained the situation to journalists, without beating around the bush.
“I wanted to clarify certain things, I didn’t have the opportunity to talk about it, it’s the right time to do it before definitively moving on to something else, obviously something happened, you all heard it, read it, afterward it took on even greater proportions because it came out in the press, and we play at Real Madrid, we are important players” clearly indicated the Madrilenian, before continuing on the rumors which were looming and a potential meeting against Uruguay. “In the press, there was everything and anything, I heard about a fight, that I would have given blows, which is not at all the case, I won’t go into details. The most important thing is that the club is aware of what happened. Afterwards, we moved forward. With Fede, we all have a common goal, which is to win titles for Real. There is no problem with that. Face Uruguay? If we face Uruguay, we will all want to win with the France team, but on a personal level, there is really no problem”.
