Saturday evening, Paris Saint-Germain entered the history of European football a little further by winning the Champions League for the second time in a row, after an intense penalty shootout against Arsenal (1-1, 4-3 on the tabs). The Capital club thus became the second club to achieve back-to-back in C1 in the 21st century, after Zinédine Zidane’s Real Madrid (2016, 2017).

To immortalize this moment, the city of Paris decided to pull out all the stops. In addition to the festivities planned for this Sunday, the RATP is also paying tribute to the reigning European champions. In fact, line 9 of the Paris metro changed the name of its station “Porte de Saint-Cloud” to “Paris is magical”. An initiative that was already made last season, after the first coronation of the Ile-de-France club.
