FC Barcelona has thus concluded the arrival of Anthony Gordon, the 25-year-old English winger. A hell of an investment, which no one really saw coming. And above all, the arrival of Gordon should not prevent that of a world-class striker, since the Catalan press confirms that the Englishman is seen as an offensive joker, capable of playing almost everywhere up front, but he is not considered as the future number 9 holder internally at Barcelona.
A crazy start to the transfer window
Barça is thus active on the arrival of Julian Alvarez (Atlético de Madrid). Mundo Deportivo explains that there was a meeting with the player’s agent on Wednesday evening, while the striker has already decided about his future: he wishes to leave the Spanish capital to join the Catalan team. In Argentina, TyC Sports goes a little further, and indicates that a first offer has been made. This is a proposal of 70 million euros + Ferran Torres.
