FC Barcelona is on the right track. Indeed, to prepare for its summer transfer window, the Catalan club is accelerating on hot issues. Yesterday a meeting was held in a city hotel between the sports director, Deco, and Dani Olmo’s agents. Later in the evening, President Joan Laporta also joined the discussions and was notably questioned leaving a restaurant, as indicated SPORT. The manager also confirmed that the transfer of Anthony Gordon (25 years old) was very well underway, explaining that all stages of the operation had been communicated to him.

The Spanish press had already been optimistic on the matter, announcing an agreement in principle, which means that the Newcastle striker should now become the first sensational recruit of the new project established by Hansi Flick. The agreement would be estimated at 70 million euros, to which could be added 10 million in bonuses, for a five-season contract. As a reminder, the Julián Álvarez file also continues to be talked about in Catalonia, even if Laporta did not mention the Madrid striker after this meeting. Step by step.
