As the 2025-2026 season draws to a close and the latest European championships have just delivered their verdict, projections for the next Champions League are already beginning to take shape. The draw for the 2026-2027 league phase can thus be anticipated based on the UEFA coefficients and the European places already secured. The major nations of European football confirm their domination, notably England and Spain who will each benefit from a fifth representative thanks to their continental performances.

In this context, the teams already qualified for the main phase are gradually distributed into the different hats. PSG, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Inter Milan, Manchester City, Arsenal, FC Barcelona and Atlético Madrid currently occupy hat 1. Behind, we find Borussia Dortmund, AS Roma, Manchester United or even Aston Villa in hat 2. For its part, hat 3 includes teams like Naples, LOSC, OL (in case of qualification) or Villarreal, while hat 4 brings together clubs from qualifying or with a lower coefficient such as Celtic, Slavia Prague or RC Lens.
