Monza on the verge of returning to Serie A

Monza is about to make its return to Serie A. This Sunday, the Lombard club defeated Catanzaro (2-0) in the first leg of the Serie B play-offs thanks to a gem from Hernani (77th) then a late goal from Giuseppe Caso (89th).

The former club of the Berlusconi family, now owned by an American company, will now have to maintain its advantage when it returns on Friday (8 p.m.). In the event of a favorable result, Monza would return to Serie A just one year after leaving it.
