The 2025/2026 Premier League season delivered its verdict this Sunday afternoon. A season which saw Arsenal put an end to its long drought of 22 years without a title of champion of England. The Gunners will play in the Champions League next season and will also be in pot 1 during the draw for the league phase. It remains to be seen whether Mikel Arteta’s men will begin this next C1 campaign with or without the status of European champion. Arsenal will be accompanied by Manchester City (2nd), Manchester United (3rd), Aston Villa (4th) – winner of the Europa League – and Liverpool (5th).

Finishing in 6th position, Bournemouth will play a European Cup for the first time in its history, in this case the C3. The Cherries will be followed by Sunderland (7th), winner of Chelsea (2-1) and who will also play in the Europa League for the first time in its history. Eighth at the start of this multiplex and therefore provisionally qualified for the Conference League, the Blues will not play any European Cup next season after their defeat against the Black Cats. It is Brighton, despite their setback against Manchester United (0-3), who will compete in the C4.

English clubs qualified for the European Cup:

Champions League: Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa and Liverpool

Europa League: Bournemouth and Sunderland

Conference League: Brighton
