The PSG training center is going through a particularly prosperous period, driven in particular by the work of Yohan Cabaye, sports director of the sector. Arriving with the desire to structure and optimize the bridge between the youth teams and the professional group, the former midfielder contributes to an overall dynamic considered very positive internally. PSG won the Gambardella Cup for the first time since 1991 and reached the semi-finals of the Youth League, a level not reached in a decade. The U17 and U19 teams also had solid performances in the championship, confirming the rise of the Parisian team, now considered one of the most successful in Europe.

This development is part of a broader strategy driven by Luis Enrique, in close collaboration with Luis Campos and Yohan Cabaye, in order to align the playing principles of the youth teams with those of the professional squad. Pressing, possession and offensive intensity are now common markers at all levels of the club, facilitating the integration of young talents. This consistency has already allowed several players to cross the threshold into the professional group, while PSG also displays a record number of players called up for the youth selections. According to our information, Cabaye’s good performance in this role is attracting the attention of several major French clubs, including Troyes, Brest and Nice. A recognition which confirms the growing impact of its work within the Parisian organization, in a context where the club is gradually establishing itself as a reference in terms of training.
