After the announcement of Didier Deschamps’ list, 26 French players will compete in the 2026 World Cup on American soil from June 11 and until July 19 if they reach the final for the third time in a row. This Friday, the French Football Federation revealed the tricolor numbers for the competition. Among the goalkeepers, Brice Samba will have number 1, while Mike Maignan will keep 16 and Robin Risser 23.
In defense, Malo Gusto and Lucas Digne will have the 2 and 3 respectively. In midfield, Auélien Tchouaméni will keep the 8, Manu Koné will have the 6, Rayan Cherki the 24 and Warren Zaire-Emery the 18. In attack, Ousmane Dembélé will keep the number 7, Michael Olise the 11, Marcus Thuram the 9 and Kylian Mbappé the 10. Désiré Doué and Jean-Philippe Mateta will have the 20th and the 22nd.
