Paris FC finished in style. After ensuring its maintenance in Ligue 1, Paris FC ended its season in the elite with a prestigious success against its neighbor, Paris Saint-Germain (2-1), Sunday evening at Jean Bouin.
Appointed to the PFC bench last February with the mission of keeping the club in L1, Antoine Kombouaré succeeded in his challenge with flying colors. And while it was not certain whether he would continue the adventure after this 2025-2026 financial year, the Kanak coach should ultimately stay next season.
According to information from RMC Sport, “ between Antoine Kombouaré and the PFC, the desire to continue is mutual”. Thus, the option of an additional year included in his contract at the time of his signing could be activated soon. His staff, in particular his deputy Olivier Echouafni, would also have attracted the Ile-de-France management.
While discussions continue between the two parties, an extension of Kombouaré beyond this optional year is even mentioned by the sports media.
