This Sunday evening, at Jean-Bouin, the atmosphere was festive. If the express celebrations of Paris Saint-Germain’s new French champion title will continue to be talked about in the coming hours, the Rouge et Bleu parking lot took advantage of this evening to consecrate Luis Enrique’s flock. On the pitch, however, it was much less spectacular but it was Paris FC who defeated their neighbor (2-1) thanks to a double from newcomer Alimami Gory in the last quarter of an hour.

A 6th defeat in L1 to conclude this 2025-2026 financial year but which seems anecdotal in relation to a fact of play which logically caught the attention of all observers: the injury exit of Ousmane Dembélé. Established in his usual role as false number 9 alongside Bradley Barcola and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the reigning Ballon d’Or did not, in fact, stay on the Ile-de-France pitch.

Dembélé felt discomfort in his calf

Most certainly physically hampered (a contracture in the left leg was quickly mentioned while the latest information leans more towards discomfort in the calf) after a very discreet start to the match, the 29-year-old French international (58 caps, 7 goals) then gave way to Gonçalo Ramos after only 27 minutes of play. Enough to worry the supporters of the European champions less than two weeks before the Champions League final against Arsenal.

Present at the Ligue 1+ microphone after the match, Luis Enrique nevertheless gave a rather reassuring speech. “ He’s fine. I hope nothing important “, he confided before returning to the subject at a press conference. “Nothing to say about Ousmane Dembélé, we’ll see tomorrow”. Same story with Joao Neves, optimistic for his teammate on League 1+ : “I think he’s fine, I think it’s not serious.» While passing through the mixed zone, Marquinhos didn’t say much more… “I haven’t seen it, I don’t know and it’s better that you wait for information from the club rather than me”. We will therefore have to wait a few hours to know the seriousness, or not, of Ousmane Dembélé’s injury…
