The French Football Federation has revealed the French team’s calendar for next season.

The Blues are preparing to open a new era. The next World Cup will indeed mark the end of the long history between Didier Deschamps and the France team. At the same time, the French Football Federation will announce the name of the new coach of the France team.

There is little doubt that Zinedine Zidane will be the lucky one. The former playmaker is already working on building his staff and will be in regular contact with Philippe Diallo, the president of the French Federation.

The native of Marseille will undoubtedly look favorably on the announcement made by the FFF. The latter has in fact communicated the Blues’ program for the next season, the first of the Zidane era.

Zinedine Zidane back in Bordeaux?

After two first away matches, respectively in Turkey, on September 25, then in Belgium, three days later, the French team will follow up first with two matches at the Stade de France, against Italy on October 2 and then against Belgium, on October 5.

A month later, after a trip to the other side of the Alps, on November 12, the Blues will face Turkey, this time in the provinces. And the choice of the Federation necessarily appears as a nod to Zinedine Zidane since the French team will play at the Stade Atlantique in Bordeaux, where the world champion played for four seasons (1992-1996) and had a thunderous debut with the blue jersey.

For the rest, the Blues will play the quarter-finals of the Nations League or their first qualifying matches for Euro 2028 in March 2027 then either the semi-finals of the Nations League or qualifying matches for Euro 2028 in June.
