Affected in the right knee ligament, Ben White should miss the end of the Arsenal season. And so the Champions League final against PSG

While Paris Saint-Germain is heading into the home stretch of its season, the same goes for its future opponent in the Champions League final. Current leader of the Premier League, Arsenal is not yet assured of anything and could lose everything. A loss, the Gunners have just suffered a serious one since Ben White should not play again this season.

The right side was lined up this Sunday during his team’s short trip to West Ham (0-1). Unfortunately for him and his family, he was not able to stay on the field beyond the half-hour mark. Visibly injured in a ligament in his right knee, he had to give way to Martin Zubimendi (28th). According to the latest news from The Athletic, the verdict has been confirmed and Ben White should certainly miss the C1 final scheduled for May 30 in Budapest (6 p.m.).

Physically fragile for many months and already injured in one knee, Ben White has relapsed. In addition to his more than likely absence from the Champions League, the England international could also be deprived of the 2026 World Cup. However, he had returned to the selection led by Thomas Tuchel after an absence dating back to the 2022 World Cup.

Ben White and Arsenal awaiting medical verdict

Arsenal have two final matches to play in the Premier League, respectively against Burnley on May 18, then at Crystal Palace on May 24. It remains to be known the exact nature of Ben White’s injury to know what the outcome is and how long the twenty-eight-year-old full-back could be absent.

This season, the Poole native played thirty matches, in all competitions, for 1,880 minutes of play. He scored one goal (in the League Cup) and provided two assists (one in the league, the other in the Champions League).
