Paris Saint-Germain will participate from May 22 to 24 in the fifth edition of the Franco Chignoli Memorial, a prestigious U11 charity tournament organized in Casnate con Bernate, on the shores of Lake Como. The Parisian club will be part of an exceptional field bringing together twenty teams from eight countries, including Liverpool, Manchester United, Boca Juniors, River Plate, Inter Milan, Juventus, FC Porto, AC Milan and even Olympique de Marseille, title holders. Sponsored by Gianluca Zambrotta, the event has become a benchmark for youth football in Europe.
Beyond the field, the Franco Chignoli Memorial defends a strong solidarity dimension. Since its creation, the tournament has raised more than 60,000 euros for associations helping children in difficulty. The 2026 edition will notably support projects linked to sports inclusion, pediatric oncology and the reintegration of young prisoners. “The sporting result is not an end in itself, but the fruit of a journey,” recalls founder Olivier Chignoli, whose ambition is to make football a vector of education and social inclusion.
