While OM is moving forward on the track leading to Grégory Lorenzi, from Brest, another sports director followed in recent months by the Marseille club is seriously approaching Atalanta. According to several Italian media including Corriere dello SportCristiano Giuntoli would have reached an agreement with the Bergamo club to take control of the sports sector at the end of the season.

Free since his departure from Juventus, the former architect of the Naples title in 2023 should succeed Tony D’Amico, announced on departure and expected to move to Milan or Rome. In Bergamo, Giuntoli will notably have the mission of choosing the future coach, Raffaele Palladino not seeming assured of being confirmed despite his desire to continue the adventure with Atalanta.
