After Paris Saint-Germain qualified for a second consecutive Champions League final, Jérôme Rothen got totally excited about Luis Enrique on the show Rothen ignites on RMC. The former Parisian midfielder praised the work carried out by the Spaniard since his arrival in the capital. “I continue to admire all his work since the first day he arrived. For me, he had from the outset the style, personality and talent to sublimate this PSG team”he declared, before adding: “he has everything you ask for in a PSG coach. He has this slightly arrogant side. We Parisians are a bit like that, we find ourselves through a coach like him”.
Totally won over by the former Barça coach, Rothen then multiplied the compliments after the elimination of Bayern Munich. “What he puts in place on the ground is more than astonishing. I am in love with this trainer! He’s the genius coach Paris Saint-Germain needed”launched the former left winger. Before concluding with an even stronger statement: “This guy is incredible and I hope they keep him around for a long time. Do you see him talking about PSG? He’s sweating the club! I get chills when I see him. I would have liked to have a guy like that as a coach during my six years at PSG”. The message has been sent, and Luis Enrique should appreciate it.
