Gonzalo Higuaín has been talked about again… but not really for his goals. The former Real Madrid striker, recently seen in the stands during a match, surprised everyone with a totally unexpected look: far from the sharp and refined striker of his great years, “El Pipita” appears today with a looser silhouette, a few extra kilos and hair that we were not completely familiar with at the time of his career. A transformation which quickly sparked reactions on social networks, as it contrasts with the image of the clinical scorer he embodied on European pitches.
As a reminder, Higuaín left his mark on several major football clubs, with 121 goals for Real Madrid, 91 for Naples and 66 with Juventus, before ending his career at Inter Miami in MLS. An Argentinian international on 75 occasions (32 goals), he played for a long time in a very competitive selection, notably alongside Carlos Tevez and Sergio Agüero. Discreet in the media since his retirement, it took this unexpected appearance to remind the public that one of the most prolific attackers of his generation now leads a life far removed from the spotlight at the very highest level.
