Manchester City have not been spoiled. Unlike PSG who were able to benefit from match postponements, the Skyblues will have to try to win the Premier League and the FA Cup in a sequence of six matches in 20 days. Asked about the pace imposed on his team, Pep Guardiola was fatalistic.

“It can happen in other countries, but here it’s like that. You have to get used to it. If you don’t like it, go train in France or Portugal. I love being here, and I’ve said it several times before – when I was at Barcelona and I saw the coaches here complaining about the schedule – it’s always been like that. So I wasn’t expecting anything else.”he confided at a press conference, before the trip to Everton.
