Recruited by Real Madrid in 2024, Endrick had to wait until he turned 18 to have the right to fly to Spain. With the Merengues, the young Brazilian did not play much, but he had time to rub shoulders with the Merengue stars on a daily basis. And there was one that really impressed him.
“Modric is the player who impressed me the most at Real Madrid, 100%. He is someone who taught me a lot during my first year. Not just in training, but also during matches. It was a real football lesson. He was 40 years old and in great shape. He trained every day. When he wasn’t playing, he was heading to the club to train and do his own extra sessions. The way he plays is incredible. He was always giving me advice, telling me what I should do on the pitch. It helped me a lot. He was one of the most incredible guys I’ve ever met in football.”he declared to the Guardian.
